Shot in the Frontier is the one-hundred-fifty-seventh Columbia Pictures short subject starring the Three Stooges.

Plot

It is only after their nuptials that the Stooges discover that the Noonan brothers took a liking to the wives during the Stooges' recent absence, and vowed to kill our heroes if the weddings occurred. After the Justice of the Peace leaves, the Stooges are stalked by the Noonan brothers, engaging in a slapstick gun battle, and in the end, a fist fight.

• Shot in the Frontier is one of the only two shorts in 1954 to contain completely new footage.
• This marks the only appearance of Mort Mills, who is later made appearance in Stooges' last featured film The Outlaws Is Coming! in 1965.
• This marks the only The Three Stooge short to co-star Shemp Howard and Mort Mills.
